We prioritize your privacy. For guest users accessing our temporary email service, we operate with a strict zero personal data logs policy. We do not require registration or personal details to use the basic service.

For registered users, we collect minimal account data necessary for service operation, such as an email address and securely hashed password. We do not collect names, addresses, or phone numbers unless explicitly provided for billing purposes.

2. How We Use Information

Any information collected is used solely for the following purposes:

  • Service delivery and reliable email routing.
  • Abuse prevention, combating spam, and protecting our infrastructure.
  • Managing premium subscriptions and account access.
  • Improving user experience and service stability.

3. Temporary Mail & Data Retention Policy

Our core service is temporary email. Therefore, we have aggressive data retention policies:

  • Received emails are automatically and permanently deleted after a set retention period (e.g., 2 hours for guests, customizable for premium users).
  • Once an email is deleted, it is completely removed from our IMAP servers and database. It cannot be recovered under any circumstances.
  • Temporary email addresses are recycled or permanently disposed of based on account activity and domain lifecycle.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and local browser storage to provide a seamless experience:

  • Session management to keep you logged in or maintain your active temporary email address.
  • Storing user preferences, such as light/dark theme preference and language selection.
  • We do NOT use invasive tracking cookies or sell your browsing data to advertisers.

5. Third-Party Services & Analytics

We may engage trusted third-party services to operate our platform:

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) for premium subscriptions. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Privacy-focused analytics tools to measure website traffic and performance without tracking individual users.
  • We do not share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All connections are secured using TLS/SSL encryption.
  • Our servers are hosted in secure, ISO-certified data centers.
  • We employ rate limiting, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to prevent unauthorized access.

7. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you have rights regarding your personal data:

  • The right to access the personal information we hold about you.
  • The right to request deletion of your personal data (Right to be Forgotten).

To exercise these rights, registered users can delete their accounts via the dashboard. Guest data is ephemeral and auto-deleted.
